Consultant to public bodies and NGOs on research, monitoring and evaluation in a wide range of policy areas from human rights to urban regeneration, including: poverty reduction, cohesion policy, local development, social economy and innovation, sustainability, social expenditure, health and health promotion, local development, active employment policies, undeclared work and the informal economy, migrants, vocational training, youth policy, education, crime prevention and law enforcement, violent radicalisation, restorative justice, violence against women. Expert in impact evaluation of complex multi-sectoral interventions, quantitative and qualitative research methods, theory-driven approaches, methods of evidence synthesis (e.g. realist synthesis), development of guidelines and capacity building activities to promote monitoring and evaluation practices. From 2002 to 2009 she taught as Contract Professor ‘Evaluation of Social Plans’ at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ and since 2003 she has been Director of the CEVAS Centre of Research and Evaluation (RM). She is a member of EES (European Evaluation Society) and in the period 2000-2003 she was Secretary and Vice-President of the Board of AIV (Italian Association of Evaluation).
